Congratulations graduating students!

We would like to extend a warm welcome to our University Counseling Center (UCC) services for graduating students. You've accomplished a wonderful life goal of finishing your graduate or undergraduate degree. While this new chapter in  your life is very exciting, it can also come with the challenge of making decisions, facing deadlines and dealing with uncertainty.  Below are several services and information on how the UCC can support you as you finish up your time at the University of Utah. Note: all services below are available for currently registered students. Please be advised that your future graduation may impact your eligibility.

How we can help

Single Session

Single sessions can be a great alternative to individual counseling. SS can help you process a current issue, make a decision, or find out if counseling is a good fit for you. Students looking for free, brief, one-time, and on-demand support can schedule an IN-PERSON Single Session appointment online here or a 24/7 VIRTUAL Single Session appointment by clicking here.

Initial consultation 

Initial consultations (IC) can help to determine and assess your mental health needs with a trained counselor. During the initial consultation, the counselor and you can determine a plan to help meet your mental health goals after you graduate. Click here to schedule an IC.
