Students looking for group therapy, brief individual counseling, or medication services please call the Counseling Center at 801-581-6826 to schedule an in-person intake appointment. You can also schedule an initial consultation. Please note most of our services –including intakes, Single Session, individual counseling, group therapy, and workshops—are FREE. Learn about those few fees we do have.
Please seek crisis services if:
- You are having thoughts of killing yourself or hurting/killing others
- You are worried you are hearing or seeing things others do not
- You have experienced discrimination, microaggressions, violence, a sexual assault, threats, a traumatic event, or the sudden death of a loved one
- A university faculty or staff member encouraged you to seek a crisis appointment

Please call the Counseling Center at 801-581-6826 Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 6 PM; 8 am to 5 PM on Friday to talk with a crisis counselor.
24/7 crisis support outside of Counseling Center hours is available through SafeUT OR by calling 801-587-3000.
Mental Health First Responders (MH1)
Students living in campus housing please reach out to Mental Health First Responders (MH1) if you are in crisis between 4 PM and 2 AM by calling 385-321-5356.
